What To Expect
Your first consultation will take approximately 45-60 minutes. Your consultation involves a thorough history and physical assessment. This helps us understand your health concerns, what impact they’re having on your life and what your goals are.
The results of your physical assessment will help us plan your treatment to help you achieve your goals. Depending on what we find during your assessment, you may be given a referral to have X-rays. After your assessment we’ll provide any appropriate treatment.
At Body Logic Chiropractic we have a range of treatments that can help relieve pain, restore function and improve the way you move.
Your treatment may include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue treatment, acupuncture, dry needling, cupping therapy or kinesiotaping.
To help support the benefits from your treatment, we may also prescribe stretches or exercises
After your first consultation, any follow up appointments are 20-30 minutes. These appointments include physical assessments to track your progress, and your treatment.
Everyone is different so if there are other services that Body Logic Chiropractic doesn’t offer that we think you would benefit from, we’ll refer you to another health practitioner.
About Chiropractors
Chiropractors are registered health professionals and complete a minimum of five years of university education. They are trained to treat mechanical issues of your musculoskeletal system which is made up of muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints and your nervous system.
Manual therapy techniques are used by chiropractors to improve the function of your spine and other joints in your body, and can help with conditions such as low back pain, neck pain, headaches and poor posture.
To support your body, chiropractors are also trained to prescribe stretches and exercises to treat and rehabilitate conditions related to muscles and joints.
